The highly anticipated PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 is set to kick off on October 31, 2024, featuring 49 teams from various regions. PUBG Mobile Esports recently held the group draw and revealed the teams for the Group Stage. The 48 teams are divided into three groups, namely  Yellow, Red, and Green, each consisting of 16 teams.

PMGC 2024 Format

League Stage (October 31 - November 24, 2024, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

The PMGC 2024 League Stage will start on October 31. 48 teams are divided into three groups of 16. Each group will play 24 matches across four days, with six matches per day. The top three teams from each group move to the Grand Finals, while teams ranked fourth to 11th head to the Survival Stage. The bottom five teams from each group will be eliminated.

Survival Stage (November 20 - 22, 2024)

The Survival Stage features 24 teams, divided into three groups of eight teams each. Each group plays six matches per day, for a total of 18 matches over three days. The top 16 teams advance to the Last Chance stage, while the bottom eight teams will be eliminated.

Last Chance Stage (November 23 - 24, 2024)

In the Last Chance Stage, 16 teams compete in 12 matches over two days. The top six teams will advance to the Grand Finals, while the bottom 10 teams will be eliminated.

Grand Finals (December 6 - 8, 2024, London, United Kingdom)

The Grand Finals will feature 16 teams: nine from the Group Stage, six from the Last Chance Stage, and one team directly invited from the host region. These teams will compete in 18 matches, six per day, to determine the PMGC 2024 champion.
