The biggest event of the PUBG Mobile esports calendar, the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) commences on November 2. The global tournament will see 50 teams from across the world lock horns for the PUBG MOBILE Champion title and the lion’s share of the $3 million prize pool.

The League stage and Finals of PMGC 2023 will have different prize pools. The PUBG Mobile marquee tournament will kick off with the league stage where 48 teams, divided across three groups will go head-to-head. After three gruelling rounds, 14 teams will battle it out in the PMGC Grand Finals in Istanbul, Turkey.

What is the format for the PMGC 2023 League stage and finals?

Group Stage: Nov 2nd - 19th, 2023

48 teams, divided equally into 3 groups of 16, will play exclusively in a certain week of 24 matches. The top 3 teams of each group advance to the Grand Finals. Then the 4th - 11th place of each group will advance to Survival Stage and the last five teams of each group are eliminated.

Survival Stage: Nov 22nd - 24th, 2023

24 teams, divided equally into three groups of eight will see each group play six matches per day for a total of 18 matches across 3 days in a Round-Robin format. Here the top 16 teams advance to Last Chance while the last eight teams will be eliminated.

Last Chance: Nov 25th - 26th, 2023

16 teams will lock horns across 12 matches after which the top five teams will advance to Grand Finals while the bottom 11 teams will be eliminated.

Grand Finals: December 8th - 10th, 2023

16 teams (14 teams from League Stage + 2 teams directly invited) will battle it across 18 matches before one champion will be crowned.
