Delhi Capitals top-order batter Prithvi Shaw finally ended his run of poor form with a dashing half-century against Punjab Kings to help his team register a big win. But after reaching the milestone of 50, Shaw performed a rather strange celebration where he was seen making an ‘N’ design with his hands.

A similar celebration was then replicated by the Mumbai-born batter’s rumoured girlfriend Nidhhi Tapadia, who is an actor and social media influencer. In her Instagram stories, Tapadia tagged Prithvi Shaw and shared a video which had pictures of both performing the ‘N’ celebration.

She also shared a picture where Prithvi Shaw is seen greeting Nidhhi Tapadia, after the game at the stadium in Dharmashala. The clip was captioned, “Whattaaa Showww shaw,” with a red heart, teddy bear and fire emojis.

Talking about Shaw’s knock, the Mumbai native scored 54 in 38 balls with seven fours and one six. This crucial 50 allowed DC to put up 213 runs and then register a 15-run win to salvage pride after being eliminated from the playoff race. Before this 50, Shaw had only scored 47 runs in six matches before being dropped.

Hence reacting to this knock in a post-interview with David Warner, Shaw spoke about how he was under a lot of pressure but put in the necessary work to get back into the squad. He said, "The mindset was simple. After getting out in 3-4 games and then getting dropped, there was pressure on me I won't lie. The work that I put in practice sessions are the things which kept me going today. Obviously, it's a bit late but we enjoyed the win. Everyone putting their hands up and not giving everything away. It's still a win and everyone is smiling so really happy."
