The Men in Blue clinched another series on Thursday (January 12) with one more ODI to go. After the win in the second ODI by 4 wickets, Team India head coach Rahul Dravid returned to his hometown while the other members travelled to Thiruvananthapuram for the third and final ODI. The last match of the Sri Lanka tour will take place on January 15 at the Greenfield Stadium.
The former India cricketer and current head coach suffered some health issues during the second ODI between India and Sri Lanka. Despite his bad health, he stayed with the side for the match. It is to be noted that Dravid felt some kind of uneasiness and took medicines after his blood pressure reportedly shot up.
Now, these updates have put Rahul Dravid’s availability for the third ODI in doubt. Notably, both teams played back-to-back two ODIs with a day’s rest.
Talking about the India vs Sri Lanka ODI series, the hosts have already sealed the three-match series after winning the second match on Thursday (January 13). The Rohit Sharma-led side won the second ODI by four wickets, while they won the first ODI by 67 runs.
