With signs of worry to counter England’s famous ‘Bazball’, Team India have added another worrisome sign as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja sustained a hamstring pull in the final innings of first Test.

However, the scan results are still awaited of the Indian all-rounder, he is likely to miss the upcoming second Test, which starts in four days’ time. Ravindra Jadeja suffered this blow when Ben Stokes ran him out in the second innings. Just while taking the run, he hobbled and was he was seen holding his hamstring.
Rahul Dravid reacts on Jadeja’s hamstring pull
Team India Head Coach Rahul Dravid spoke on Ravindra Jadeja’s injury after the all-rounder pulled his hamstring while taking a run in the final innings of the first Test. When asked on the update in the post-match press conference, Dravid replied, “We’ll see. I honestly haven’t had a chance to speak to the physio as yet. Once I get back, I’ll speak to him and see what it is about.”
Moreover, Jadeja missed out a Test in South Africa last month due to back spasm, however he returned for the final Test, which India won, drawing the series. Speaking of the ongoing Test series against England, both teams will travel to Visakhapatnam to play the second Test, scheduled for 2-6 February 2024.
