Canadian rapper Drake recently posed for a photo with star winger Vinicius Jr., who also gifted him a signed Real Madrid jersey. The B razilian is on break and was attending Drake’s concert at the Barclays Center on July 18. Drake is a fan of football and has posted to social media numerous times about the sport. The iconic rapper was also delighted with the signed Madrid jersey, which he showed off on Instagram both on its own and with Vini Jr.

Vinicius Jr recently attended Drake’s concert with 21 Savage in Brooklyn, which is a part of the musician’s ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour. The Champions League winner not only posted pictures of the concert to social media but also of himself at Times Square in New York. The photo with Drake shows the two posing for the camera with the ‘So Far Gone’ rapper holding the signed Madrid shirt in his hands. Above the signature on the shirt, Vini Jr wrote, “ To [the] Number 1, All The Best.”
Champagne Papi also shared a picture of the signed jersey on his Instagram Story. Vini Jr is a known fan of music, especially rap and RnB. He was at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in May for the Beyonce concert and posted a picture on social media with the Grammy winner and her superstar husband Jay Z backstage.
Real Madrid to begin preseason tour of the US on July 20
Though Real Madrid has resumed training in Spain, certain players like Vini Jr, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Rudiger, Modric, Carvajal and Fernandez have been given an extended break. This is mainly due to fatigue building up over the season as well as Spanish and Croatian players’ participation in the Nations League.

Real Madrid will be touring the United States from July 20th, beginning in Los Angeles where the players on extended break are expected to rejoin the full squad. Los Blancos have a host of high-profile friendlies scheduled, including an El Clasico against Barcelona as well as games against Champions League semi-finalists AC Milan and League Cup winners Manchester United.
