India and Australia will lock horns in the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With the 2023 edition of the tournament approaching its end, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the names of officials who will be officiating the high-voltage match on Sunday.

Ahead of the big game, the ICC announced Richard Illingworth (England) and Richard Kettleborough (England) as the on-field umpires. While Illingworth was one of the two on-field umpires for the India and New Zealand semi-final, Kettleborough was there during the Australia and South Africa semi-final clash. 

Joel Wilson (West Indies) and Christopher Gaffaney (New Zealand) will be the third and fourth umpires. Wilson and Gaffaney were third umpires for the India versus New Zealand and Australia versus South Africa semifinals, respectively.

  • On-field umpires: Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough
  • Match referee: Andrew Pycroft (Zimbabwe)
  • Third umpire: Joel Wilson
  • Fourth umpire: Christopher Gaffaney
