As the T20 World Cup winning Indian team returns home, the young Indian squad has flown to Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series . Led by Shubman Gill, the Men in Blue will lock horns with Zimbabwe in a T20I series from July 6 to 14 at the Harare Sports Club. With the Indian team jetting off for their next campaign, Riyan Parag, who received a maiden call-up, misplaced his passport.
The young Indian all-rounder, who is set to make his international debut, misplaced his passport and two of his phones in excitement. The Assam all-rounder revealed that it happened out of excitement, but confirmed that all of it was recovered in time to join the squad. “So excited that I’ve forgotten my passport. I’ve forgotten my phone. I’ve forgotten, I’ve misplaced them. But I have it now,” Riyan Parag said in a video posted by BCCI.
