Rocket League, the famous arcade-style soccer paired with wheels, collaborated with Disney and launched one of the most iconic characters in its game. The famous red race car, which is voiced by Owen Wilson, will be available for the Rocket League players from November 7.
Speaking of Lightning McQueen, it is one of the main characters of the animated car trilogy produced by Pixar, in association with Disney. Developer Psyonix announced the collaboration and said that the McQueen car is the first in the Rocket League to have dynamic expressions. Psyonix added, “Lightning will look around the pitch while you cruise the Arena, then narrow his eyes in focus as you approach supersonic speeds.”
The Lightning McQueen Mega Bundle will be available for a total of 2500 in-game credits, and comes with a list of contents, including,
- Lightning McQueen Car (Dominus Hitbox)
- Rust-eze Decal
- Dinoco Decal
- Cruisin’ Decal
- Lightyear Racing Wheels
- Lightyear Dinoco Wheels
- Lightyear Whitewall Wheels
- Ka-chow Goal Explosion
- Lightning McQueen Player Banner
- “Life Is A Highway” Player Anthem by Rascal Flatts
This is not for the first time that Rocket League has collaborated with other franchises. In the past, it has collaborated with Back to the Future, Batman, Jurassic World, Ghostbusters, and more. Speaking about customisations available in Lighting McQueen, the car can be modified using toppers, boosts, trails, and goal explosions, but not antennas.
