Houston Rockets shooting guard and former second overall pick in the NBA draft, Jalen Green, has found himself in a new controversy as reports of him having a child with a 23-year-old California student while expecting one with his current girlfriend Draya Michele. Rockets made massive improvements in the 2023-24 as they finished 11th in the West with 41 wins and 41 losses.

Alongside incoming players like Fred Vanvleet and Dillon Brooks, the young rockets of Green, centre Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr., Tari Eason and Amen Thompson made massive improvements. But despite these heroics on the court, the 2021 NBA draft second overall pick made news for dating the 39-year-old actress  Draya Michele.

Jalen Green welcomed baby girl but not with Draya Michele

Adding to his much-talked-about love life, TMZ reported that Green welcomed a child named Peace Moira on February 12 with Myah Iakopo, a student from California. Green and Iakopo knew each other but never had a serious relationship. TMZ claims Draya Michele, who is also expecting a child with Green, has no beef with  Myah Iakopo and Green has strived to support  Peace Moira and her development.

Their contrast works well for our team: Udoka on Green and Sengun

Coming back to Green, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka expects the fourth-year guard to gel well with Sengun and level up in the 2024-25 season. Speaking to Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network, Udoka expressed,  "I think their contrast works well for our team. Throughout the league's history, we have seen a good guard-big-man combo work."

"I think they already had a good two-man game going in previous years.  This year, we added to that. They are still learning how to work off each other. They both do things very differently. With both buying in and being competitive, it's a solid recipe for success," the Rockets coach continued.
