Former NFL player Ryan Shazier’s wife Michelle Rodrigues accused him of cheating and lying. The former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker found himself in the center of a marital storm as his wife accused him of cheating in a now-deleted Instagram story. Michelle called her husband a ‘cheater and liar’ on social media. She took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared screenshots of alleged texts between Shazier and a woman named Marie.

Michelle posted the screenshots of chats between Ryan and the woman and wrote, "A person that loves his family…this is what they do to their family…the WIFE..that has been there for him since day 1! Infidelity at its finest! I can’t sit here and keep hiding anymore. You can have it. I deserve better. This is Ryan…he’s a liar and a cheater.”
Though the 31-year-old is yet to make any official statement, he reportedly told TMZ, "Michelle and I have been living apart and are currently separated. As we work through what comes next for our family, I ask for privacy and prayers."

Shazier, a former basketball player has been with Ryan before 2017, when the player underwent a spinal surgery, that ultimately drew curtains on his NFL career. They met in 2015, through social media and had a long-distance relationship set up while she was studying at Texas State University and he was playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
