While South Africa started Day 2 of the ongoing second Test against India at the Wanderers Stadium on 35/1, they ended up taking of lead of 27 runs with the help of a classy knock from Keegan Petersen's 62 and Temba Bavuma's 51 respectively. South Africa despite a good second wicket partnership couldn't take a big lead as Shardul Thakur stunned the Proteas batting line-up with his terrific bowling attack as he ended up picking 7 wickets in the innings. India ended Day-2 on a positive note by scoring 85/2 in the 2nd innings with Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane looking very confident. Pujara was scoring quick runs unlike him as he smashed 7 boundaries and remained unbeaten on 35 in his 42 ball knock.
