On Tuesday, December 3, cricket legends and former India teammates Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli reunited during the unveiling of a memorial of their childhood coach Ramakant Acherkar. In an event, which took place at the Shivaji Park in Mumbai, a place which has been the core of their cricketing journeys, saw the two legends share a stage.
However, the videos of this reunion went viral in just minutes, it also raised concerns around Vinod Kambli’s health conditions. In the videos going viral, as Kambli struggled to stand on his feet, Sachin Tendulkar was also asked to leave after a brief meeting with his former teammate.

In the videos it is being seen that Tendulkar walked over to Kambli, who later was unwilling to let go of his childhood friend as the two exchange a brief moment. Kambli, 52, who is seen struggling with his age beside him, was also seen singing a song from the Bollywood movie ‘Pyaasa’.

Apart from the likes of Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar, the event also saw the presence of former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar, former bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, Pravin Amre, Balwinder Singh Sandhu, alongside Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray.
