South Africa’s Dewald Brevis has emerged as an explosive batter who can destroy the best of bowling attacks on his day. The 19-year-old also known as Baby AB recently put on an exhibition in the ongoing CSA T20 Challenge as he scored 172 runs off 57 balls while playing for the Titans against the Knights. Brevis also set the record for scoring the fastest 150 off 52 balls.
With the batter wreaking havoc on the bowlers, Brevis was asked about who he would choose as the batting partner between Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers. Brevis had no second thoughts about his answer as the 19-year-old quickly took Tendulkar’s name. The South African burst out of the scenes during the U19 World Cup as he ended with 506 runs against his name which he amassed in eight matches.
