Former India skipper and a World Cup winner, Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Sunday, July 7 is celebrating his 43rd birthday. The stalwart of the game, who was recently seen attending the wedding ceremonies of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai, took some time off to celebrate his special day, along with his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni and other close members.
The legend, who turns 43 today, cut a special cake at midnight to bring in his birthday in style. Moreover, what caught eyeballs during the cake cutting celebrations was his wife, Sakshi seeking blessing from Dhoni by touching his feet, video of which has been going viral.
In the viral video, which has been shared by the five-time IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), MS Dhoni can be seen cutting the cake. He also shared the frame with his wife, while giving her the first bite. “And the party begins! PS: Cakes and Thala make the best combo!” CSK captioned the post.

It is to be noted that the couple recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. The couple did keep things low key this time around as they simply cut the cake and shared snippets from their celebrations. Moreover, Sakshi Singh Dhoni, shared pictures from their anniversary celebrations along with some unseen pictures with the caption reading, “Starting our 15th years! ❤️🙏🧿”
