Jasprit Bumrah’s wife Sanjana Ganesan has once again hogged the limelight after she was body shamed. Ganesan, who is often seen on the sidelines of a cricket match, working as a sports presenter, shared an Instagram post where she was captured alongside her husband and Indian spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.
While the two were seen promoting a promotional video as the Valentine’s Day approaches, several fans took to the post, body shaming the Indian cricketer’s wife, who gave birth last year. In a post with the caption reading, “When Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, all you want to do is spend some quality time with bae and pamper each other .. & yes, “we are that couple”,” fans slammed Sanjana, fat shaming her.
However, the sports presenter dropped a savage reply, shutting the trollers. Tagging one of the users who commented writing, “Bhabhi moti lg rhi hai”, Sanjana hit back responding, “school ki science textbook toh yaad hoti nahi hai tumse, bada auraton ke bodies ke baare mein comment kar rahe ho. Bhaago yaha se.”
The Indian speedster tied a knot with Sanjana in March 2021 and the couple was blessed with a baby boy, who is named Angad in September 2023. While Ganesan has been on and off the field, Jasprit Bumrah is part of the India squad for the England Test series.
The Player of the Match from the second Test, Bumrah wreaked havoc with his bowling in the second Test against England in Vizag, finishing with a nine-wicket haul. While there were reports of Jasprit Bumrah being rested for the third Test, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have named him in the side for the remaining three Tests.
