During the fourth and final T20I between South Africa and India at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, an unfortunate incident involving a fan happened after Sanju Samson smashed a six. A female fan, who was watching the match in the grandstand, had the ball hit on her face, following which she was grimacing in pain before a member of the crowd put an ice pack on her jaw, trying to reduce the physical agony.

The ball struck the female fan on her face in the 10th over of the Indian innings when Sanju Samson smashed Tristan Stubbs for a maximum after completing a fifty on the previous ball, following which he looked concerned for the spectator. The series for the right-handed batter has been a contrasting one with a hundred followed by two ducks, and currently, he is on his way to a third T20I hundred in just five innings, which could end up being a monumental achievement.

Watch the female fan getting struck by Sanju Samson's six here:

As of this writing, India have reached 199/1 total in just 14 overs with both Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma at the crease going past their respective fifties. These two batters already have a hundred each under their belt in the four-match T20I series, and a second one could go a long way in India taking the series with a 3-1 scoreline against South Africa in their own den.
