On last week’s episode of WWE Raw, Seth Rollins went head-to-head against a seasoned veteran in Jinder Mahal in his World Heavyweight Championship defence. During the pulsating contest, the Modern Day Maharaja hit his finishing move the Khallas on the Visionary, but the champion managed to kick out in the nick of time before he stomped the challenger on the mat to retain his title.

While the World Heavyweight Championship match was going on, Seth Rollins was managing himself because of the real-life knee injury, and he willed himself to close out WWE Raw in style. In the following days, Fightful Select cited sources near Seth Rollins, who told them that he had indeed suffered a torn MCL and a partial meniscus tear, but everything else is up in the air.

It led to WWE finally acknowledging the suspected injury of their World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins on the latest edition of SmackDown. The official WWE website listed the following programming on the upcoming edition of Raw, which read, “This Monday, World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins will address the WWE Universe, kicking off Raw in style. What’s next for The Visionary, and what does his future hold?”

With the 37th annual WWE Royal Rumble just days away, the fans will be hoping that the health and well-being of Seth Rollins is intact for him to perform regularly on the road to WrestleMania.
