Veteran Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has bid adieu to all formats of international and domestic cricket. The left-hand batter played his last international game for India in December 2022 and couldn’t find a place in the Indian squad since then. He was also the captain of Punjab Kings in IPL 2024. Dhawan has been one of the best opening batters for India in the last decade and played so many big knocks throughout his career.

Shikhar Dhawan was regular opening batter for India in the limited overs format till 2020. After that, the management tried many young cricketers in that spot and Dhawan slowly lost his place in the Indian team. However, he led the Indian team multiple times when big players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were rested. He has played 34 Tests, 167 ODIs, and 68 T20Is for India amassing 10867 runs across formats. Let’s have a look at the stats and records of his career.
