Shreyas Iyer, who is picked as the vice-captain for the final two T20Is of the series against Australia, will replace Tilak Varma in the playing XI during the fourth match as per the SportsTiger sources. India, 2-1 ahead in the five-match T20I series, will be looking to take an unassailable lead with a win on Saturday, December 1.

At the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur, the Indian cricket team will be playing for the first time ever in a T20I during the fourth match of the series against Australia. After winning the first two matches, the hosts lost the third match at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, thanks mainly to the batting heroics of Glenn Maxwell.
India posted a formidable total of 222/3 in their allotted 20 overs in the third match of the T20I series after a magnificent hundred from Ruturaj Gaikwad, who stayed not out on 123 off 57 with 13 fours and seven maximums. In response, Australia were behind the eight ball for most of their innings until Glenn Maxwell turned the situation completely on its head, scoring 104 off 48 with eight fours and eight maximums, taking his team to victory on the last ball.
Prasidh Krishna likely to make way for Deepak Chahar
Prasidh Krishna, who was on the receiving end of a brutal hitting display from the Australian batting lineup in the third T20I, is likely to make way for Deepak Chahar in the Indian playing XI for the final two matches of the series. Notably, the 27-year-old registered the most expensive figures for an Indian in the third T20I against Australia at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, conceding 68 runs in his spell despite bowling a six-run over without a boundary in the 18th.
If Deepak Chahar takes part in the fourth T20I against Australia at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur, it will be his first international in nearly a year. The 31-year-old last played in Indian colours against Bangladesh in an ODI at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on December 7 last year.
