The Indian men's team will travel to Sri Lanka for a six-game white-ball series next year in July after the ICC T20I World Cup in the West Indies and the United States of America. 2024 will be a year with a lot of touring for Team India which kicks off with a long series against South Africa starting in December 2023.

After a couple of home series against Afghanistan and England, the Men in Blue get ready for the T20I World Cup with the Indian Premier League in March. 2024 will also include a three-match away series in England, which is a part of the ongoing World Test Championship. Including these tours, the Men in Blue will play 52 international matches in 2024 consisting of 10 Tests, 21 ODIs, 21 T20Is and 20-20 World Cup.
Coming back to the mid-year tour of the Island nation, Sri Lanka Cricket released its 2024 calendar which sees the Lankan Lions take on India in three ODI and T20I matches each in July and August. Talking about the Sri Lankan team's schedule, CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket, Ashley De Silva, expressed excitement as the Lankan national team will play a lot of competitive cricket around 2024.
"We are heading into a highly exciting year with a lot of international cricket to be played, which augurs well for us, as our team will be engaged in competitive cricket year around. The 2024 calendar is expected to give our players a lot of playing opportunities, fans entertainment, and our sponsors great exposure."
