India took to South Africa in the third and final game of the three-match T20I series at the Wanderers Stadium on Thursday. Despite losing two early wickets in the third over, India skipper Suryakumar Yadav led from the front and went on to score a record-levelling fourth T20I century and became the first Indian batsman to score a century in South Africa in the shortest format.

In the 3rd T20I against South Africa, Suryakumar Yadav smashed 100-off-56 runs with seven fours and eight towering sixes. The 33-year-old joined Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell as the three batsmen to score the most centuries in T20I cricket with four centuries a piece.

Talking about the game, South Africa won the toss and invited India to bat first as the Men in Blue registered 201 runs on the board at a loss of seven wickets. Apart from Suryakyumar's century, Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a half-century while Rinku Singh was the only third batsman for India to score in double digits.
