Manchester United continued their dismal run in the season as they failed to score a single goal in their recent loss against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. With their 1-0 home loss against the Bundesliga champions, the Red Devils crashed out of the UEFA Champions League 2023-24, and the fans expressed their displeasure with head coach Erik Ten Hag on social media.
In the UCL 2023-24, Manchester United managed the bottom spot in Group A, which also featured Bayern Munich, Copenhagen, and Galatasaray. Erik Ten Hag's side won just one of their six matches in the Champions League, losing four and playing a draw. Man United won their only match against the Danish club while they played an away draw against the Turkish giants.
Apart from that, the record 20-time champions are also struggling in the Premier League as they have managed the sixth spot in the 2023-24 standings with nine wins and seven losses in 16 matches so far. This season, the Red Devils have scored just 18 goals, which is less than 14 teams in the league. The fans are gradually becoming querulous about their team's miserable performance and flooded social media with trends of "Erik Ten Hag Out."
