Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has returned to play international cricket after a period of more than 10 months and in his comeback match against Ireland, he became 11th player to captain the national side in T20Is. Bumrah also won the Player of the Match award for registering bowling figures of 2/24 in first T20I game against Ireland.
Jasprit Bumrah in the last one year have missed out on playing big events like Asia Cup 2022, T20 World Cup 2022, and even the WTC 2023 Final and fans are desperate to see him play the upcoming ODI World Cup which is all set to happen in two months' time.
Here, in this article we will see three reasons why Bumrah looks fully fit to play the 2023 ODI World Cup.
1. Looked in good rhythm with the ball against Ireland in 1st T20I match
Jasprit Bumrah despite not playing cricket for a long period of time at international stage, looked in very good rhythm with the ball in the first T20I match against Ireland. He picked up two wickets in the very first over of the innings.
Bumrah's bowling action didn't get affected despite being out of action as he looked completely fit while bowling that unique action without facing any discomfort during the recently completed T20I match against Ireland.
Bumrah's form will be crucial for India's chances to lift the Asia Cup and World Cup trophy in 2023.
