The T20 World Cup 2024 was an incredible tournament of thrills and spills, culminating in the Indian cricket team winning the trophy at the expense of South Africa at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. 5. Ibrahim Zadran (231 runs in 8 innings)
Ibrahim Zadran was exceptional at the top of the order for Afghanistan alongside his opening partner Rahmanullah Gurbaz, playing a major role in securing a place for him in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2024. The right-handed batter accumulated 231 runs in eight innings at an average of 28.87 with two fifties, although his strike-rate was just 107.44 because the pitches didn’t allow free stroke-play all the time.
