Coming into the 2023-24 season, Harry Kane enters as one of the best strikers in the world. The England captain scored 32 goals with five assists last season and finished second in the Premier League's golden boot race behind Manchester City star Erling Haaland.
Kane's departure from North London seemed eminent at the start of the transfer window with the 30-year-old being out of contract next season. Further Spurs' failing to qualify for top-flight European football also emerged as a factor pushing Kane to look for newer pastures.

Similarly for Bayern Munich, the number nine position has been big hole since the club parted with ways with Polish goal-machine Robert Lewandowski. The former Borrusia Dortmund forward left Munich last season to join FC Barcelona where he emerged as the La Liga's highest goal scorer. He was also crucial cog in Xavi's league winning campaign as the Catalans pipped Real Madrid to win the La Liga for the first time after the 2018-19 season.
