Manchester United are set to face Real Sociedad, Sheriff Tiraspol and Omonoia in the group stage of the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League. Through the draw ceremony held in Istanbul on Friday for the 14th edition of the tournament since being rebranded from the UEFA Cup, Eric ten Hag’s men are slotted in Group E.

Whereas other Premier League giants Arsenal will play PSV Eindhoven, Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich in Group A. The group stage begins on 8 September and concludes on 3 November. The knockout stage starts on February 16, 2023, with the final set to take place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on May 31, 2023.

The superstar clubs in the Europa League are Jose Mourinho's AS Roma and Copa del Rey winners Real Betis, who could produce some entertaining games of the round in Group D. Their city rivals Lazio are in Group F with Feyenoord, Midtjylland and Sturm Graz. Nantes return to the European stage against Olympiacos, Qarabag and Freiburg in Group G,

Similarly, French giants AS Monaco has been handed a particularly dicey proposition as they were knocked out of the Champions League qualification by PSV and will face Red Star Belgrade, Ferencvaros and Trabzonspor in Group H.
