Valorant Patch 9.10 Phoenix Changes
Phoenix, one of Valorant’s first duelists, is getting some important updates:
- Blaze (Fire Wall): Phoenix’s wall of fire will now go through solid objects, giving his team more ways to push into sites.
- Hot Hands (Fireball): This ability is now a basic skill, so it won’t recharge after getting two kills. Players will need to be careful when they use it.
- Curveball (Flash): Curveball is now his main ability, and it will recharge once after every two kills, letting Phoenix use it more during rounds.
Updates to Gekko and Other Agents
The agent Gekko is also getting a few tweaks. His Ultimate (Thrash) will cost more to use, and there will be changes to how he can retrieve his abilities, Dizzy and Wingman. Riot has not shared all the details, but these adjustments aim to improve his gameplay. Also, it’s expected that agents like Sage and Cypher might see some minor changes in Valorant Patch 9.10.
New Armor: Regen Shield
One of the most interesting updates is the Regen Shield, a new type of armor. As the name suggests, this armor can regenerate over time. This means that players can regain some armor after taking damage.
