He needed to chill out for four to five balls: Aaron Finch lashes out at Rajat Patidar for throwing away wicket
Former Australia cricketer Aaron Finch lashed out at Rajat Patidar for throwing away a wicket during RCB’s game against KKR. He spoke on Star Sports, “He had to make sure that he batted 2 to 3 overs deeper for RCB to have a batter who is in. Yes, we have seen some huge scores and we have guys walking out and trying to smack the ball out of the park from ball one.”
He added, “You can’t be walking out and throwing wickets away, particularly in batters. It’s hard enough to get in, especially on a surface like that where the ball was holding enough and spinners were having an impact. Patidar needed to chill out for maybe 4 or 5 balls, get to the next ball, and then reassess.”
