Star Indian batter Virat Kohli along with his wife, Bollywood celebrity Anushka Sharma on Tuesday, 16th January received the invitation for the Ram mandir ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony. This invitation brings Virat Kohli to be the latest cricketer to be invited for the ceremony, set to take place on January 22 in Ayodhya.

Kohli, who is currently on an international duty and featuring in the India versus Afghanistan T20I series, flew to Mumbai from Indore to receive the invite. Pictures of Virat & Anushka posing with the invitation has been doing rounds on social media.
However, the 35-year-old has flown back to Bengaluru, where India will host Afghanistan for the final T20I. Kohli has reportedly joined the Indian side and commenced his training at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Apart from Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh and Ravindra Jadeja from the cricketing community have also been extended the Ram Mandir consecration invite.
