The two-match Test series between West Indies and India culminated with the visitors clinching the series 1-0 after the second match ended in a rain-marred draw. While the second Test had other things to cherish including Virat Kohli’s 76 th  international century and his long-awaited Test ton.

 

But as the majority of Day 4 and the last day of the second Test were interrupted by rain, he grabbed the limelight once again by signing a bat for the Port of Spain Museum. Soon after the match remained suspended on Day 5 and India clinching the two-match series 1-0, Virat showed a brilliant gesture by signing a bat for the museum. Picture of the same is now doing rounds on social media.


Fans also applauded this gesture of Kohli as they hailed him as the face of the world.

Mohammed Siraj wins Player of the Match in WI vs IND 2 nd  Test

 

India’s pace sensation Mohammed Siraj won the Player of the Match award in the second Test, which was his first in the longest format of the game. Talking more about the match which actually was played for just three days, West Indies had won the toss and invited India to bat first. The Rohit Sharma-led side posted 438 during their stay in the middle with Virat bringing his 29 th  Test ton and Jaiswal, Rohit, Jadeja and Ashwin adding with their crucial half-centuries.

 

While Kemar Roach, Warrican clinched  three wickets each, Jason Holder took two and Gabriel taking one before they were bundled out for the score of 255 in the second inning. While the Man of the Match took a five-fer with debutant  Mukesh Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja scalping two each and Ashwin finishing with one wicket.

 

The Men in Blue then added 181 to their previous total before declaring the inning after 24 overs of play, putting 289 as the target for the Windies. However, the side just added 76 runs with rain playing a spoilsport and the match ending in a draw. However, with this the Men in Blue clinched the series 1-0 in what was a centennial Test between West Indies and India.
