Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was seen enjoying time with his wife Anushka Sharma and kids in Perth. Kohli is a part of the Indian squad for the upcoming five-match Test series down under that will begin on November 22. The first match of the series is scheduled to be played at Optus Stadium in Perth. Kohli was reportedly the first Indian player from the squad to land in Perth ahead of the first Test.
Recently, a photo went viral on social media where Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma can be seen on the streets of Perth along with their kids, Vamika and Akaay. Kohli was seen wearing a green oversized hoodie and a cap, while Anushak was wearing jeans and pink sweater along with sunglasses. Soon after this, Kohli joined the Indian team ahead of the first Test in Perth and was seen donning the new practice kit for the Indian team.
India to play Intra-squad practice match ahead of first Test down under
The Indian cricket team has started preparation for the much awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy. It will be a crucial series for Men in Blue after a humiliating 0-3 defeat in a home Test series against New Zealand, with their chances for the World Test Championship final also at stake. According to the latest reports, the Indian team is scheduled to play a three-day intra squad practice match from November 15 to 17 ahead of the first Test on November 22.
However, the general public won’t be allowed to catch the glimpse of the practice as the BCCI has intervened to keep the stadium under lockdown. The staff member of the West Australian cricket were also denied using mobile phones outside their offices filming inside the ground.
