The big-ticket ICC ODI World Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan saw a wardrobe malfunction involving India batter Virat Kohli. The Indian number three was seen wearing the wrong jersey for the clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

After winning the toss, the Men in Blue opted to bowl first.  But around the sixth over mark,  Virat Kohli was out of the field as he went to change his jersey. Kohli was spotted with a jersey without the Indian tri-colour on the Adidas three stripes placed on the shoulder. Hence,  Ishan Kishan replaced the former Indian captain, before Kohli returned to the middle.

Talking about the Pakistan batting, the Men in Green got off to a great start with 41 runs in 8.5 overs. But on the last ball of the ninth over, Mohammed Siraj managed to dismiss  Abdullah Shafique LBW. The Pakistani opener was caught plum at the score of  20 in 24 balls with three fours.
