The 35-year-old, who announced retirement from T20 Internationals just minutes after India won the T20 World Cup 2024 in Barbados, beating the likes of South Africa by seven runs, continues to break records, both on and off the field.
Recently, after India’s triumph, Kohli took to Instagram to share a picture of the Men in Blue lifting the coveted trophy after 17 years and captioned it, “Couldn’t have dreamt of a better day than this. God is great and I bow my head in gratitude. We finally did it 🇮🇳❤️🇮🇳❤️jai hind ❤️❤️❤️”. This post from the veteran cricketer has now become the most liked post on the photo and video sharing social networking service.
The post, which has garnered comments as well as likes from celebrities, cricketers as well as fans alike, has become the most liked post on Instagram with more than 18.5 million likes and counting since it was uploaded.
