Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad recently roped in Karim Benzema on a three-year-deal which will keep the former Read Madrid striker until 2025-26. The Real Madrid legend joined the elite list of players including Ronaldo at the Saudi Pro League.
Recently, the Benzema shared a video of himself performing Umrah in Mecca. A noticeable feature among the footballers after they joined the Saudi Pro League, newly signed Al Nassr player Sadio Mane also performed Umrah along with Seko Fofana.
The 35-year-old French footballer took to social media to share the video of himself, wearing the Ihram, caption the post, “God willing, Praise be to God” in Arabic.

Speaking via OLGB, Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke criticised the transfer of players to Saudi Arabia, while highlighting the age of the players. “The players who have joined that league, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema, they were all in Europe when they were in their prime, they’ve gone to the Saudi Arabian league now they’re in their mid-thirties,” Yorke said.
