Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran took Afghanistan past 100 in the 13th over, providing a solid platform for the middle order to make hay on a belter of a pitch. During their impressive partnership, in the 9th over, Sam Curran was taken to the cleaners for 20 runs including a no ball, after Rahmanullah Gurbaz hit two fours, followed by a maximum.
Shortly afterward, the left-arm medium fast bowler was patrolling the boundary rope in the 10th over of the Afghanistan innings, where the cameraman panned the lens towards him for a close-up shot. The moment Sam Curran turned to grab a drink, he realised that the camera was too close to him for comfort, which led to him pushing it away from his face in an instant.
