The second round of India’s domestic tournament, Duleep Trophy 2024-25 is underway in Anantapur. On the opening day of the match between India A and India D at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur, Shreyas Iyer-led India D won the toss and invited their opponents, India A to bat first.
Although the Mayank Agarwal-led India A’s top order stubbled early in the inning with Pratham Singh and the skipper departing having scored only seven runs each, Riyan Parag looked in good touch as he took the field. However, his stay in the middle was short-lived as he was sent back to the pavilion off Arshdeep Singh’s delivery.
