During the 21st match of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2024, in a wild turn of events, a ball boy had a collision with Faf du Plessis outside the boundary rope at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The incident happened when the South African put a valiant effort to save a boundary before he tried to get out of the way of the ball boy, who unintentionally elevated him over the advertising boards in what looked like a WWE move called suplex, but fortunately, he avoided a serious injury.

Notably, in this Abu Dhabi T10 League 2024 match, Faf du Plessis’ Morrisville Samp Army put a competitive score of 112/5 in their allotted overs after an exceptional 51 off 25, which included three fours and four maximums. Karim Janat and Imad Wasim also provided late impetus to the innings with a few boundaries each, while Fazalhaq Farooqi and Shahid Bhutta picked up a couple of wickets each for Delhi Bulls.
