Boston Celtics improved their season stats with a 112-94 victory over Washington Wizards on Sunday. However, Celtics power forward Grant Williams made the headlines by showing up in a Batman costume on the Halloween's eve and donning it again in a post-match media interaction.
The Celtics opened the game with a 19-point lead in the first quarter and ended up winning the game by 18 points at the TD Garden. The Greens climbed to the third spot with a victory over the Wizards as they managed four victories in their six matches.
Last March, the 23-year-old Grant Williams displayed a strong defensive performance against Nuggets star Nikola Jokić, known as "The Joker" and told the media that he desired to be called 'Batman'. On Halloween's eve, Grant Williams wore his Batman suit and addressed the media using his character impression.
Williams said, " Best part about this team … is that if we … take care of each other … defensively … it's all that we can accomplish. "

During Williams' presser, Celtics forward Jayson Tatum gave a hilarious reaction on his teammates' appearance and voice modulation. Tatum was heard yelling across the locker room, "Man what the f*** is you doing," which left everyone in splits.
While asked by the media about Williams's wish to be called as Batman in March, Tatum replied, "I can’t understand why Grant would want to be called Batman … Grant played great tonight, but I’m going to call him Grant. I’m not calling him no damn Batman."
Talking about the game, Jaylen Brown recorded the best numbers in the game with 24 points and 10 rebounds followed by Jayson Tatum and Malcolm Brogdon's 23 point-game. Grant Williams played for 25 minutes and scored 10 points with three assists and rebounds each.
On the other hand, Washington Wizards center Kristaps Porzingis registered 17 points and 13 rebounds while Rui Hachimura scored 13 points and made 9 rebounds for his team.
