Former World No. 1, Carlos Alcaraz was seen erupting in joy after Spain beat France to advance into the final of UEFA Euro 2024. Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who is currently playing at the Wimbledon 2024, was waiting to end his press conference after his quarterfinal win at the All England Club to watch his country’s match against France, which was played at the Munich Football Arena in Munich on Wednesday, July 10.

Alcaraz, who entered the Wimbledon 2024 as the defending champion, took down Tommy Paul in their last-eight match on Court No. 1 at the All England Club in London. Soon after his win, he was in time to finish with his media duties with Spain dominating in the Euro 2024 quarters. His excitement of the Euro’s lead at that moment was quite visible as he was rooting for the La Roja.

In a video shared by Wimbledon, the tennis sensation was seen celebrating Spain’s dominance over the Dider Deschamps’ men as he joined the staff, saying “Vamos”.

Speaking of his quarterfinal match, the 21-year-old decimated 12th seeded Tommy Paul in three hours and 11 minutes to take the game, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 at Court 1. The young Spaniard will next face fifth seeded Daniil Medvedev at the Centre Court on Friday, July 12 in the Wimbledon 2024 men’s singles semifinals. The Russian tennis player, Medvedev is coming into the semis after a hard-fought win over top ranked Jannik Sinner 7-6, 4-6, 6-7, 6-2, 3-6.
