On the latest episode of SmackDown from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Champion, went face-to-face with Logan Paul, his next challenger at the WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE. The American Nightmare took exception to the words from Maverick about the rise of WWE due to his work before calling him delusional.
After successfully defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against AJ Styles last weekend at Backlash PLE in Lyon, France, Cody Rhodes arrived at SmackDown, where the General Manager, Nick Aldis, introduced him to his next challenger. The WWE United States Champion, Logan Paul, walked into the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre to a plethora of boos from the WWE Universe.
Logan Paul started face-to-face by talking about how his upcoming match with Cody Rhodes in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will truly kick off the “Logan Paul-Levesque Era” in the WWE. Paul called himself the greatest attraction in WWE today before talking down on Rhodes’ achievements at the past few Royal Rumbles and WrestleManias, hyping up his own instead.
The Maverick also spoke about knocking out the American Nightmare before pinning him for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the upcoming WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE. In response, Cody Rhodes first called Logan Paul a dumbass before giving him props for his achievements in WWE and elsewhere.

The Undisputed WWE Champion finished off his rebuttal by calling Logan Paul disrespectful, self-centered, and delusional, and told him about not going through a match in WWE without using the brass knuckles. Cody Rhodes concluded by saying that Logan Paul shouldn’t take credit for WWE’s recent success, which doesn’t belong to him or any other individual, but to a team.
