Conor McGregor, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, has shown off his bartending skills in a video posted on his Instagram account. The Irish MMA star, who is recovering from a broken leg he suffered in his last fight against Dustin Poirier, was seen serving his own brand of whiskey, Proper 12, mixed with apple juice and ice, to a group of customers at his gastropub, The Black Forge Inn, in Dublin.

McGregor has recovered from surgery after he broke his tibia and fibula in his trilogy fight with Poirier at UFC 264 in July. He lost the fight by doctor stoppage at the end of the first round, dropping his MMA record to 22-6, but now he is back and is due to fight Michael Chandler in August.

The video was to promote the forged Irish stout’s launch in the US, and Mcgregor showed off his MMA skills behind the bar with a host of media around. The MMA star posted the video on his Twitter account with the caption "Proper Apple on the rocks and 3 pints of Forged Irish Stout comin’ right up.”

The 35-year-old also posted the promotional video of his beer’s launch in the US on his Instagram handle. The video shows McGregor pouring the beer and stirring it with a spoon. It also features snapshots of the MMA star with many celebrities and friends. Mcgregor captioned it as, “We Are Coming! ☘️⚔️ USA, We are not here to take part. We are here to takeover ⚔️🇺🇲! Forged Irish Stout, Coming To America Soon! To Liquor Stores & Proper Bars! The World's Creamiest Stout. 100% Irish 🇮🇪”

McGregor's pub, The Black Forge Inn, is one of his many ventures outside of MMA and has proven successful after buying the pub in 2020 and he renovated it with an investment of 1 million euros.  Mcgregor then also launched his own stout beer, Forged Stout, which is sold exclusively at his pub but now will be also coming to the US. The pub features McGregor memorabilia and bottles of his whiskey, as well as a patio with a wall stenciled with his tiger tattoo.
