Sporting Portugal continued their domination in the ongoing Primeira Liga Portugal after they defeated AVS Futebol SAD by 3-0 margin  at José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon to register their sixth straight win of the season. After the match, Sporting Portugal forward, Conrad Harder came up with the iconic ‘Siuuu’ celebration of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. Playing his debut match for Sporting after coming in for Pedro Gonçalves, Conrad Harder scored one goal in the match. 

Conrad Harder scored the first goal of the match for Sporting Portugal with 15 minutes into the game. After that, Viktor Gyökeres struck twice, first in the 45+4 minute and again in the 71st minute of the match. Sporting Portugal are yet to lose a match this season and have also equalled their best start in this century after the 2017-18 season under Jorge Jesus.

Sporting Portugal made three changes in match against AVS Futebol

Sporting Portugal had to make several changes in their line-up against AVS Futebol due to injuries. Conrad Harder filled the place of injured Pedro Gonçalves. Apart from that, coach Rúben Amorim made three other changes in the line-up that won against Lille by 2-0 in the Champions League. Matheus Reis came in for injured Gonçalo Inácio, while Nuno Santos replaced Geny Catamo in the line-up. 

On the other hand, AVS also made one change in their line-up as head coach Vítor Campelos bought in young striker Rodrigo Ribeiro for the fixture against Sporting Portugal. Despite several changes in the line-up, Sporting took an early lead against AVS as the debutant Conrad Harder scored the first goal in the 15th minute. After that, Viktor Gyökeres went on to score two more goals while AVS went goal-less throughout the match.
