Winning a medal for the country is a dream for which every athlete plays the sports and witnessing the national anthem to play while they stand at the podium is the ultimate dream. Indian athletes achieved remarkable feats in Tokyo 2020, finishing with its best-ever performance.  India's tally of medals also includes one Gold medal which was grabbed by Neeraj Chopra in the Men's Javelin final, with a throw of 87.58m.

However, in order to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) has brought 18 athletes together on one platform to sing a national anthem song.

According to IISM, the objective of bringing all the athletes on one platform remains the same as earlier.

"To inspire both the people of India watched fellow sportspersons to take up Sports and dedicatedly desire to achieve success in this field. Keeping in mind the stupendous success achieved by Indian sportspersons at last year’s Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and this year’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, IISM has directed and produced the National Anthem which has brought all these athletes together for the first time."

Athletes like Neeraj Chopra, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Mirabai Chanu, PR Sreejesh, Lovlina Borgohain, Sumit Antil, Manish Narwal, Pramod Bhagat, Krishna Nagar, Bhavina Patel, Nishad Kumar, Yogesh Kathunia, Devendra Jhajharia, Praveen Kumar, Suhas Yathiraj, Sharad Kumar, Harvinder Singh, and Manok Sarkar have participated in the video. Notably, India finished its campaign with 7-medal in total-1 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze. This was India's best medal haul ever at the Olympics.
