Star Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah dismissed injury rumours as the cricketer was seen bowling in full tilt in the nets ahead of the third Test. There were rumours doing rounds around Bumrah’s fitness after he was seen struggling a bit during the second Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Adelaide. However, ahead of the third of the five-game series, the bowler looked completely fine as he bowled quite well in practice against KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal. 

It is to be noted that Bumrah led India’s bowling attack in the first Test and picked a total of eight wickets in the first game. The speedster then went on to add another four wickets to his name in the Adelaide game, despite the fact that the visitors suffered an embarrassing loss. However, during the day/night game, Bumrah went down on the field and had to be consulted by the team physios. Needless to say, it was a moment of panic for Indian fans and pundits alike.

In a video doing rounds on social media, Bumrah was seen practicing hard in the nets along with the likes of teammates including Jaiswal and Rahul. The video surely sent a sigh of relief to Indian fans, considering Bumrah has been one of the biggest contributors for the visitors on the land Down Under. It is to be noted that Bumrah is the highest wicket taker in the charts of the ongoing BGT series. As mentioned, the 31-year-old has picked up a total of 12 wickets from the two games played at an average of 11.25. 

Furthermore, the Indian bowler is also the leading wicket-taker in 2024 in Tests with 53 wickets. Bumrah, who led the Indian team in the opening game of the BGT series, will be keen on adding more scalps in his tally in the third game, which is set to start from December 14.
