Talismanic batter and former Indian captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma yet again displayed the magic of being a celebrated star couple. Both are currently in Brisbane, Australia where they were spotted together, as they celebrated their seventh anniversary. A photo shared by Virat's official fan page on X (formerly Twitter) showed both Virat and Anushka entering the team's hotel in a casual outfit.
The image was captioned, “Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Snapped Outside The Team Hotel, Brisbane," and quickly went viral on social media. Fans in not time flooded the post with compliments and anniversary wishes. The couple tied the knot on December 11, 2017, in a lovely ceremony in Italy.
Kohli dedicated his Perth milestone to Anushka
Kohli scored his 30th Test century in the opening game of the Border Gavkasar Trophy 2024-25 in Perth. The cricketer then dedicated his milestone to his wife and thanked her for her steadfast support throughout his career. “I take pride in performing for my country. The fact that she is here makes it even more special for me,” Kohli said.He added, “Yeah, Anushka has been right by my side through thick and thin. She knows everything that goes on behind the scenes, what goes on in the head when you don’t play as well or make a few mistakes.”
Anushka and Virat's celebration in Australia includes their two children, Vamika and Akaay Kohli. The family is enjoying their time together while Virat and his team prepare for the forthcoming Test match. The Gabba in Brisbane will host the third test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia beginning December 14.
