The Boston Celtics have been one of the most dominant teams in the 2021-22 NBA season since the new year. They ended the regular season as the second seed and have continued their great form in the playoffs as they have now swept the Brooklyn Nets in their first-round playoff series.

The Celts won the fourth game 116-112 led by Jayson Tatum who scored 29 points with three rebounds and five assists. He hit 9 for 16 from the field and also made four three-pointers at 66.7% from the deep. Similarly, Jaylen Brown also scored 22 points with eight rebounds and three assists along with three other Boston players who scored in double digits.

Tatum expressed how the team was prepared for this series as he said, "We knew who we were facing, we knew how talented they were, and we knew it was going to be a dogfight. It was 4-0 but each game was back and forth and tough. We just believed in ourselves. We took it one game at a time and didn't get too far ahead of ourselves."

"It took us a minute, but when we got our full team, we were right there. We stayed composed, we stayed together, we didn't lose sight of what we were trying to accomplish and we haven't looked back since," he continued.

Similarly, Brookly Nets Kyrie Irving also opened up about the disappointment with the team’s loss as he said, “Just disappointment, sadness. But also more importantly on the positive side is motivation. It’s just burning in my heart right now. … So many people wanted to see us fail at this juncture, picked us as contenders and have so much to say at this point. So I’m just using that as fuel for the summer.”
