Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham pranked his England teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold on his 26th birthday. While being on duty for the national team, Bellingham organised a surprise birthday party for his teammate. Notably, Jude is back in the England squad after he missed out last month’s Nations League wins over Ireland and Finland due to injury. He had been suffering with a muscle issue that he picked up during the La Liga season opener against Mallorca in August, this year.

In a video posted on the official X account of England team, the 21-year-old footballer could be seen hiding behind a large cardboard cut out which read, “Happy birthday, Trent!” The clip showed the birthday boy walking up to admiring the surprise and found Bellingham to jump out from the figure to scare him. The Real Madrid midfielder then wished his England teammate a happy birthday.

Wayne Rooney goes against Jude Bellingham to choose England’s best player

Wayne Rooney snubbed Jude Bellingham to pick the best player of the England squad. Bellingham has emerged as one of the most important players in recent seasons, right from Euro 2024. The youngster scored important goals against Serbia and Slovakia as his side made it to the final. However, Rooney didn’t pick him as the best player of the Three Lions but named Phil Foden as the best player.

He told talkSPORT, "Phil Foden, for me. I know he hasn’t played that much this season for Man City but Phil Foden at his best is the best player England have got. Cole Palmer has been sensational since going to Chelsea and you see everything Jude Bellingham is doing at Real Madrid. But for me Phil Foden is the one, I really enjoy watching him. They’re very talented. I just hope they haven’t missed it in the last few tournaments because obviously someone like Harry Kane, who has scored a lot of goals, if he’s not quite there in two year’s time at the next tournament, what effect does that have?”
