Devin Booker-less Phoenix Suns lost their home game against Nikola Jokic's Denver Nuggets by 111-119 at the Footprint Center on Friday night. However, the Suns' star forward Kevin Durant racked up 30 points and surpassed Moses Malone to become the NBA’s 10th all-time leading scorer.
The former Philadelphia 76ers and Utah Stars center Moses Malone has registered 27,409 points in his NBA career and the 35-year-old Durant surpassed him with his 17th point in the game against the Nuggets.

Despite losing against the Nuggets, Kevin Durant showed out with a double-double to register 30 points and 11 assists with a 13-off-13 free throw percentage, making 67 consecutive free throws while the NBA record is 97. In the final minute of the second quarter, Durant drove in to score a bucket and entered the top 10 all-time NBA scoring list.

Durant entered the top 10 NBA all-time scoring list and now trails Carmelo Anthony, who is ninth in the list with 28,289 points in his 19-year-long NBA career, and Shaquille O'Neal, who is eighth after scoring 28,596 points in his career.

Talking about the game, Nikola Jokic's 21-point double-double with 16 assists helped the Nuggets beat the Suns by eight points at the Footprint Center and joined the Minnesota Timberwolves at the top with 14 wins so far this season.
