Kevin Hart, the famous comedian and actor, has referred to himself as ‘the dumbest man alive’ as he was left in a wheelchair after a race with Steven Ridley, the former NFL star.  Hart, who is 44 years old, challenged Ridley, a former running back for the New England Patriots, to a 40-foot dash and ended up tearing his lower abdomen and hip abductors, which resulted in him being in a wheelchair and unable to walk.

Hart posted a video of himself explaining what happened while seated in a wheelchair on Instagram to describe his experience. The comedian claimed that after arguing with Ridley about who was faster, they decided to settle the matter on the racetrack. Hart asserted that he finished ahead of Ridley in the race but at a high cost because he was "pretty fast."

"44 and sitting my ass down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!! What the f–k am I doing???? I blew my s–t….I’m done. FML,” He said. “I’m in a wheelchair. Why? Well, because I tried to jump out there and do some young stuff,” Hart said, adding that he’s now temporarily unable to walk.”He added.

Hart explained that he tore his lower abdomen, which he did not even know about, and his hip abductors, which are muscles that help move the legs sideways. 44-year-old also said that he could not walk and that he had to use a wheelchair. Hart also warned his fellow 40-somethings to respect their age and not try to do "young stuff, that he learned his lesson the hard way and that he regretted racing Ridley.

Ridley, who is 34 years old and retired from the NFL in 2018, responded to Hart's video on his own Instagram story. He teased Hart for trying to compete with him and compared him to Tom Brady, who is also 44 years old and still playing in the NFL.

The former NFL player wrote, “I SAW @TOMBRADY DO IT AT YOUR AGE SO I FIGURED YOU HAD THE JOICE TOO BIG BRO!” Ridley wrote, referring to the former New England Patriots captain Tom Brady. “MY BAD @KEVINHARTFOREAL! HEAL UP AND PEEKP MAKING US ALL LAUGH!”

More than 500,000 people liked Hart's video, and many Hollywood A-listers, including the Rock and Will Smith, commented on the video. Undoubtedly, the comedian has faced worse calamities than this most recent setback. As a passenger in the 970 Plymouth Barracuda that Hart's friend Jared Black lost control of and slammed through some wooden fencing on Mulholland Highway in Malibu in September 2019, Hart suffered a fractured spine in three places that necessitated surgery and rehabilitation.
